Vascularity and veiny arms mean that you are in top shape.
Also, it means that you’ve gotten rid of most of the under-skin water and your muscles are more visible.
So, one of the main questions I get when people want to get in better shape is how to get veiny arms.
What steps do you need to take to look better, improve health and reach a high level of vascularity? (1)
So, let’s see the four steps that will get you there.
How to Get Veiny Arms – 3 most important tips:
1. Hard workouts
Hard workouts are the basis if you want veiny arms.
When you want to increase your arms’ vascularity you need to do effective exercises that engage the underarms and biceps.
These exercises include deadlifts, pull-ups, and rowing with a barbell.
Various exercises target the biceps and forearms.
Also, workouts will help you reduce body fat percentage in order for your veins to pop and become more visible.
So, you need to work out harder than ever and include the following exercises in your training.
Try the Best Workouts to Get Veiny Arms:
Deadlift
One of the best exercises that will build your forearms.
Also, it will improve vascularity, and blood flow and help you get visible veins in your arms.
Pull-ups
This bodyweight exercise is one of the best workouts to get veiny hands.
There are different variations but the best to get veiny hands are chin-up and classic pull–up.
Include this exercise in your workout routine.
Biceps Scott curls
Definitely one of the best biceps workouts and one of the best exercises for veiny hands.
How to do this exercise?
Bend over the Scott curl so that the end of the bench is up to your armpit.
Take a two-hand weight lift and make sure your palms are faced up.
Lift the weight up to your chin and tighten your biceps.
Go back slowly to the starting position.
You lift the weight only with your biceps and that’s why this exercise is harder than the EZ barbell curl.
Incline dumbbell curl
How to get veiny arms with dumbbells?
You can do this exercise with a dumbbell curl and an incline bench.
Lean on the incline bench and take the dumbbell curls in your hands.
Put your arms next to your body and start lifting the dumbbell curls.
You should bend only your elbows and you should try not to move your body as much as possible.
Your bicep is the only muscle that needs to move during the exercise.
This exercise really pumps your biceps and improves vascularity.
Seated wrist curl
You can do the seated wrist curl with a barbell, cable, or dumbbell.
Grab the dumbbells with hands shoulder-width apart, and lean your forearms on a bench or your thighs so that your arms can bend toward the floor.
Grasp the dumbbells firmly and start extending your forearms lowering the dumbbells toward the floor.
Bring the dumbbells back to the starting position which will contract your muscles and help you get veiny arms.
Try to avoid sudden movements since you can get injured easily.
Reverse seated wrist curl
Similar to the seated wrist curl, you can do the reverse seated wrist curl with your hands face down.
How to do this exercise?
Hold the dumbbells (the cable, or the barbell) with your forearms leaning on a bench on your thighs.
Hold your hands parallel to the floor, lower the dumbbells, and let your muscles stretch
Then start lifting the weight and go back to the starting position.
Remember, control your moves, and don’t swing the dumbbells.
A tip: Increase the intensity by holding the muscles contraction for a few seconds.
Hammer curl
This is an exercise usually done for a biceps workout, but it’s also good for your forearms.
It engages your brachialis and brachioradialis alongside your biceps.
Grab the dumbbells and do the exercise as you are holding hammers.
Squeeze
How to get veiny hands?
Squeeze a ball.
Squeezing a ball is an effective wrist-strengthening exercise.
You can use a tennis ball.
Also, you can buy some good squeeze equipment.
Squeeze as hard as you can.
You should hold for about five seconds and repeat 10 times.
2. Cut out carbs
Carbohydrates are the primary source of energy, but also the ones to blame for water retention in the body.
And that’s something you want to avoid, so reduce your carb intake as much as possible.
During such a strict diet, proteins and good fats should be your choice.
Also, don’t forget green vegetables that play a significant role in digestion and the very functioning of the body.
3. Supplements
How to get veiny arms and be more vascular?
There are some natural supplements to help you increase muscle strength and get veiny arms.
I am using only natural supplements and I don’t approve steroids.
Steroids are harmful to your body and can cause serious problems like high blood pressure, palpitation, hair loss and etc.
The best natural supplement to get veiny arms and gain muscle is definitely D-bal.
D-bal is the best natural alternative to the steroid Dianabol (for muscle mass).
Thanks to the mix of powerful ingredients D-bal increases nitrogen retention in your muscles.
Also, it boosts red blood cell production.
That means more oxygen to your muscles and you will get veiny and muscular arms faster.
Here you can see the ingredients:
- L-Isoleucine – an amino acid that boosts your nitrogen level and oxygen in the blood
- Magnesium – The most important mineral for muscle mass and it helps you recover faster.
- Vitamin D3 – Improves your immune system, and contributes to the maintenance of normal muscle function.
- Suma root – Plant extract, a powerful antioxidant.
- Ashwagandha – Plant extract, increases muscle mass and strength.
- MSM – Reduced muscle and joint pain after a workout.
- Hyaluronic Acid – Speeds up tendon to bone healing.
- Tribulus Terrestris – a plant extract, the strongest natural testosterone booster.
This is my favorite supplement and I am using it in my bulking phase.
